Bethune Luminary Academy for Girls, Inc. is an incorporated 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity (EIN: 41-3011663 | UEI: QVD3M9GLBB27) and an active charter applicant entity seeking formal authorization from the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) to operate a tuition-free public charter school serving the Hamden and New Haven corridors.

2. Open Enrollment & Public Lottery Notice

Admission to Bethune Luminary Academy for Girls, Inc. will be open to all eligible students residing in the designated service area. The school charges no tuition. In accordance with Connecticut General Statutes governing public charter schools, if the number of applicants exceeds the available capacity of our initial 120-seat cohort (Kindergarten and Grade 1), admission will be determined through an open, transparent, and random public lottery.
